This indigenous Electro-Optical Earth Observation satellite is designed to enhance Pakistan’s remote sensing capabilities by providing high-resolution imaging for national development applications. Developed through advanced in-house engineering at SUPARCO, EO-2 will support accurate monitoring of land resources, environmental changes, and infrastructure planning. Working in coordination with EO-1, the satellite will improve imaging continuity and data reliability, playing a vital role in strengthening Pakistan’s space capabilities and supporting evidence based planning for sustainable socio-economic development.
